Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Reservations May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027

  • Guests must have an active Escapee Club Membership to make a reservation.
  • The Florida SKP Park is designated a 55+ Escapee Park. Seasonal and short-term renters DO NOT HAVE TO BE 55.
  • Reservations for the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 season will be accepted March 25th, 2026 at 9 am. Walk-in reservations begin at 8 am for renters already in the park – no 3rd parties, please. Reservations can be made up to the end of April of the following year.
  • You may call (863) 735-1499 for reservations to provide your information and credit card payment. While reservations are still accepted by phone, the online service is available 24 hours a day, and will be the best and fastest option. The office manager will use the same online service that is available to the public. There may be 20 people online making reservations while you are trying to dial in.
  • Primitive Park Sites do not require reservations. These sites are available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis.
  • A deposit is mandatory for all reservations, excluding primitive park sites.
  • Refunds of deposits will be per the cancellation policy (see details below)
  • Members may return to their lot with an 8-day notice. Rental guests on Member Sites may need to relocate if a member returns.
  • With office notification, guests on Member Sites may be absent from their site up to 7 nights.
  • With office notification, guests on Park Sites may be absent from their site for up to 16 nights.
  • Reservation Deposits:
    • 100% deposit required for reservations from 1-29 nights.
    • For stays over 30 nights, a full month’s rent is due at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations submitted more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, deposits will be refunded minus a $125 cancellation fee.

  • For cancellations within 30 days before scheduled arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • For cancellations within 15 days before scheduled arrival, no refund will be issued.

Refunds are not provided for early departures or late arrivals. Cancellations enable Florida SKP Resort to provide the lot to other Escapee members.

Site Change Policy

If a guest wishes to change their current site, a one-time administrative fee of $25 will be charged. This fee applies to all site change requests and is required before the change can be processed.
